My son wears a size 7 skinny pants and I bought him a size 4/5 and they are still roomy. He loves them (and so do I!) because he can easily lift them up and down when he's wet to go to the toilet, they stay up when he swims and plays in the water, they fit perfectly under clothes , and they comfortable. However after 7 months of weekly wear they were fading badly but I ended up buying another pair because otherwise they are great!
