Wow, I'm impressed

This review is for the 27-inch Philips 278E1A borderless monitor. I was stunned that everything worked perfectly. There are no dead pixels. If I don't see them, they aren't there HDMI cable that came in the box. I expected the worst as there are issues with macOS Catalina and HDMI driven displays. No, not this time are bright, almost no glare, which can be an issue with IPS displays and is considered normal. The display is "super bright". I had to lower the brightness to 50% and the contrast to 30%. The viewing angle on the latest Phillips monitor is great you can look straight down or across and still see the image on screen Although the monitor is considered anti-glare it has a semi-reflective appearance when viewed from certain angles but you want reflections see when you look at the screen. Destination for Display” are sharp and clear, no blurring. It's like working with a Retina display on a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air. And it's a $240 monitor, what a steal.
