This item arrived in terrible condition. I thought it was used but there was no sign of soot inside the manifold. The welding on this piece was so awful that the entire flange was covered in slag that had to be ground off with a large belt sander. In addition, the corrosion inhibitor had to be carefully scraped off. Don't even try to sand it, it will just clog the sandpaper. I wonder what kind of inhibitor they used because it dried like hard CA on the metal surface. The female heat shield lugs don't even come close to matching the OEM heat shield. I had to drill the existing screw holes into the head case or bend the internally threaded tabs on the head. do this work. If you're looking for a replacement that doesn't need to be altered look elsewhere, this product is one of the worst I've seen. I know it's a lot cheaper than other brands but you make up for it in time and effort.
