I am satisfied, the product fully corresponds to the description.

bought solely because of the low price, compared with Toshiba z-930 Not entirely correct comparison - it would be more appropriate to compare Toshiba with a 13'' model, it would be more correct to say that apple provided an opportunity to save ~ 12.5% of the cost of Toshiba by taking a more compact one (for me, this is rather a plus) and a little less productive (for me, this is not critical) model. Advantages - lightweight, compact, pleasant to the touch, productive ultrabook. MagSafe is extremely convenient. Cons: The keyboard is a triumph of design over common sense. There are very few buttons on a huge area (I compare with Toshiba r-200 and nb-305, the latter is generally a netbook). Try pressing F11, and this is a very commonly used button to switch the application to full screen mode, not even with one finger, but with one hand - yeah. And this is the situation with many other necessary buttons. Wi-Fi is very weak. For me, the quality criterion is the signal level in the kitchen, located through 2 load-bearing walls from the access point. Good, stable signal Phones: Sony, Samsung, HTC tablets: Samsung, iPad mini laptops: Toshiba R-200, NB-305 Bad, unstable signal, low speed - some Chinese engineering sample of a tablet, (friends carry 2 garbage trucks a month from China) PSP-shaped Explay console (I don’t know where it came from at my house) and. MacBook Air mid 2022, that's it. Makos - well, for an amateur. If I had seen it after win, I might have liked it. And in comparison with ubuntu - just decay and hopelessness. By the way, initially I sinned on Linux wifi drivers - no, it's not about them: in macos the same connection losses and a speed of 1 Mbps. And one more shortcoming was remembered - the glowing logo on the lid. It looks, of course, stylish, fashionable and youthful, but at night the light interferes with others. In general - another victory of design over common sense. Conclusion - it was necessary to take all the same Toshiba.

Pros
  • weight, dimensions, performance, MagSafe
Cons
  • keyboard, wifi, macOS
