Works great with Verizon

I have a Verizon FIOS Gigabit and the Verizon network extenders are just a rebrand of the Actiontec network extenders. Therefore, it works perfectly with FIOS Quantum Gateway Router (G1100). For those of you who don't know how a FIOS router connects, I would like to say that it connects via a network cable and not a coaxial cable like a regular modem. However, the quantum gateway still has a coaxial connection intended for MoCA 2.0. You connect your FIOS router as usual, then connect the coax cable to the coax connector, and then plug the other end of the coax cable into the Actiontec network extender. Once plugged in and powered on, it should work right away. Go to the router settings to find the IP address of the network extender so you can login and change the SSIDs, passwords, etc. It's very easy. In addition to the actual WiFi extension, the extender also has two network connections for wired networks. Connections, that's amazing. This thing is worth the money if you have a router that supports MoCA 2.0. The only reason I took off a star is because my order didn't include a MoCA 2.0 adapter, which is extremely important if you don't have an adapter. a router that supports MoCA natively. You need to connect the adapter to your existing router using RJ45 (regular network cable) and then connect the other end of the adapter to the coaxial line. Again, this is extremely important and one of the reasons why this extension is so expensive (it has to be included). In my case I don't need it, but if I did I would be pissed.
