We've had Gaggia Academia for 2 years and a month and it's great: great espresso, cappuccino, latte, macchiato. Use it daily and with friends and family. For the past week, the flow of milk from the milk carafe and steam wand began to slow down to the point of even starting to work! The machine issued a warning screen about the danger of filling the water circuit, which then gave way to the E05 screen, which is permanent and does not allow you anything. I learned how to go into the maintenance menu on google and passed the tests, finding that water flows both into the excavator box and through the brew group and dispenser, but not into the wand and not into the carafe. I've read about the disastrous consequences of sending a car in for repairs (shipping costs both ways, missing a few months, defective again a few months later) so I REALLY want to find a local repair shop. Searched in vain for several days in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. If ANYONE knows someone who fixes this car in Minnesota, please comment here! Many Thanks.
