Super easy way to restore an old cutting board

I have had several Epicurean chopping boards. I supported them with different oils and something else. But I stumbled upon their board oil while looking for some new boards to add to my collection. So I bought a few to try. This stuff is pretty damn easy to use. It's like growing something, like a surfboard. To apply, simply use the included sponge. I rub it in, I let it sit for a while before removing the excess. Wake up, wake up baby, this is idiot protection. Now, for demonstration purposes, I pulled out my oldest and worn out board to take a picture of. This thing is many years old and is used and washed every day. Now I'm used to it looking like garbage. But I have other boards that I use when I'm serving snacks, when company is coming over, or when I'm serving. But the photo shows that the oil for the boards gives back the black shine. It still has a million cuts in it. And to keep it looking this good, I had to wax fairly regularly. I'm not worried But at least you can see what oil can do to a weathered board like mine.

Pros
  • 100% food safe, odorless and tasteless; Use applicator to apply, wipe off excess
Cons
  • No result
