Review on Bethany Housewares Krumkake Baker by Wendy Smith

I'm sorry, Bethany House, but I wasn't impressed. We have your Lefsa pan which works great and that's why we bought your Krumkake iron. The temperature control lever is cheap plastic and doesn't seem to do anything. For what we paid it could have been better designed in my opinion. The green light never came on so we had to use a timer. The cake also browned unevenly. One area was solid brown on each cookie while other areas did not brown. If I cooked it longer it would burn. We used the recipe from the owner's manual and it's a good recipe. The instructions say to toss a teaspoon of batter on the grill, but it's more like a tablespoon. I don't think I could recommend this product to my family or friends.
