This small but sturdy heater cannot be moved or knocked over without turning it off, making it safer. I use both heaters to heat rooms at the very back of the house. I usually use the 950w setting on low and when I walk into the room it's very hot. The device itself is reliable. I've had many of these that seemed cheap, but there's nothing cheap about this one. I bought them because they do NOT need to be reset when the house cycles on and off due to storms etc. They turn on instantly and I don't have to be home to reset them. If you buy 2 don't expect the thermostats to match exactly (you can't get the same precise setting on both) but do expect this unit to work perfectly on whatever settings you end up with.
