This is a small portion of shampoo designed to assist women with aging hair by creating greater body and volume. The shampoo does work well to create body and volume, though I don't necessarily think that it's superior to some of the better consumer level shampoos (like Tresemme). A relatively small portion cleans pretty well and lathers nicely.I will note that I have very long, very thick hair which generally has decent body and volume. This didn't enhance what I had, but it maintained it very well and didn't leave my hair feeling stripped or difficult to run my fingers through. It didn't do anything to enhance the shine of my dulling, aging hair (I'm 52), but it didn't diminish it either. I felt that it didn't do quite as good a job at cleaning my scalp as some other shampoos. My head felt a little itchy after using it (though not every time – just here and there).There is one problem with the shampoo's bottle design and that is that it is quite difficult to get out. I had to hit the bottom like a stubborn ketchup bottle to get a dollop out. It's not super thick, but it is on the "clingier” side and doesn't want to necessarily come out. I imagine that, as the bottle gets emptier, more and more will stick to the sides. Given that this isn't a high volume product, it would mean adding water to get it out. This isn't a big deal, but the bottle design should be more effective so it can be squeezed out.All in all, this is a pretty good shampoo, but I would expect more from something which has as many big promises as this does. I don't have information on the price at this time, but I think that I would be just as happy with something which doesn't claim quite as many grandiose outcomes that is more widely distributed.
