These pastel colors are very light. I use them for miniature models and they look great. I tap the pastels a few times with my makeup brush, then use the back of my hand to wipe away the excess before continuing—these products are so potent that even a little extra dust can streak or discolour. Wearing gloves may be recommended if your coats are not already sealed. When I have some more crazy money I'll go for some of their other colors. Update: I'm writing this update two years after I wrote the first one. The pigments are still light and powdery. They didn't change texture and didn't stick together. They're still smooth and gorgeous - and yes, there are still plenty left!
