This antenna has completely eliminated all of our CB problems on motorcycles. The antenna coupled with a standard length NGP coaxial cable gave the results we really wanted. Just make sure to route the coaxial cable on the opposite side where the ignition is on. In addition, the cable is too long for the motorcycle. DO NOT CUT. I removed my saddlebag from the side where the coax cable ran and was able to take up the slack with the back and forth lacing method. Using Steel Lock Ty wraps has been a success. Also remember not to twist the excess cable as it will form a choke. The mounting brackets behind my saddlebags did a great job of managing excess cable. We all get good range and clarity. You need to tune the antenna, which is very easy. There were no problems with the SWR meter. We all have 3 foot antennas.
