Review on πŸ”ͺ Efficient Precision: Unleash the Cutting Power of Westcott iPoint Evolution Axis Electric Sharpener by Linda Wood

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Finally a good sharpener.

I've finally found a good sharpener. I use it in the learning center and we use a lot of pencils. This is my 4th sharpener in less than a year and seems to be the best ever. First I had a high capacity Staples sharpener which was terrible - it kept breaking the lead in the pencils. I then bought a very cheap Xacto model which was good but the blades didn't last more than a month or so. I then tried the more expensive Xacto School Pro which was highly rated and recommended but was terrible. It was very noisy, in fact the pins weren't very sharp, they weren't centered properly and if you didn't insert the pins fast enough they would break off the tip completely. So it's back. Finally I decided to try it and so far I'm very happy with it. Works very quietly, sharpens evenly and precisely. My only concern is the durability of the blades. I'll give it 5 stars for now, but if it doesn't last I'll come back and update my review.
