The teacher who burned too many of them might have found a match!

I bought this for my class but the new rule is that now only I can sharpen pencils. In the last 10 years of teaching I've used 4-5 pencil sharpeners and didn't want to buy another one, but going to the office to sharpen my pencils was becoming a huge hassle. !Easy to clean Cons: Not yet - will update if I fail!

Pros
  • Good for Many
Cons
  • Infinitely Sluggish

Works great!: Writing & Correction Accessory

I love this pencil sharpener. I looked at reviews of many different sharpeners before buying and some electric sharpeners (including this one) had reviews saying they stopped working after such a long time etc. I've had this for over 6 months now and I love it didn't have a single problem with it doesn't work anymore. Sharpens perfectly, quickly and has a large enough capacity to hold chips. If you're having trouble not sharpening it, check the gears to make sure they aren't clogged with pencil

The best pencil sharpener on the market today

Advantages: - Electric pencil sharpener (120V, 60Hz, 1.0A). - Sharpens pencils in seconds. - Large shaving tank. - Not very noisy when working. works (but if you're working late, I recommend having a STAEDTLER manual sharpener handy). Cons: It has four rubber pads (wish it had suction cups). The Axis of Evolution is no exception. It is designed in the USA and made in China. This comes closest to the quality of a pencil sharpener from the 1980s. Another rule: don't press the pencil too hard. To…

Finally a good sharpener.

I've finally found a good sharpener. I use it in the learning center and we use a lot of pencils. This is my 4th sharpener in less than a year and seems to be the best ever. First I had a high capacity Staples sharpener which was terrible - it kept breaking the lead in the pencils. I then bought a very cheap Xacto model which was good but the blades didn't last more than a month or so. I then tried the more expensive Xacto School Pro which was highly rated and recommended but was terrible. It…

Lexus Sharpener

I had 5 different pencil sharpeners in high school. Two manual, two electric and this one. Two of the manual ones broke a few weeks after installation. They sharpen well and work silently, but they are short-lived and do not withstand frequent use. They also fill up quickly with chips. The two electric ones I had were only $10-$15 each. They were loud and always ate the pencil instead of sharpening it. I noticed this one. It's so quiet that it doesn't bother me while I'm studying. The…

Good until broken after light use.

When I first got this sharpener just two months ago it was great. It sharpens fairly quietly (compared to the old Xacto brand sharpener I've been using for 10 years) and I've had less trouble sharpening the #2 pencils my son uses at school well. However, last night my son sharpened his pencil and the engine would not stop. I had to unplug the device to turn it off. This sharpener was only used to sharpen a few pencils! Maybe up to thirty uses. School only started two weeks ago, and it's already

Pros
  • Pencil sharpener
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Let's get down to business

Let's get down to business. understand,"point". Anyway, this thing has its pros and cons, including using the sharpener effectively (at least the one I have). Pros: This little grinder chews on pencils like a dog on a piece of steak that fell off your plate. I mean, you stick this graphite-filled piece of wood into a small round hole and the motor instantly turns it into a smooth, pointed spear. It's quick, easy, and efficient - with one caveat - the point is off-center. What comes on cons…
