First you will need to purchase the correct size screws from your local hardware store. M6x12mm with a pitch of 1.0 is sufficient for clamps. Replace the odd M6x5mm screws that come pre-installed in the clamps with the o-ring for the supplied 16mm screws. The handlebar kit is designed to replace the stock handlebars on the '08 Ninja 650r. I drilled new holes for the stop piece that keeps the clusters from rotating. I unplugged the clutch sensor for a tighter fit (I can come back to that). The body and clamps interfere with the lever clamps so they can't rotate as much. The included thread on the end of the bar easily clashes with the weighted ends I took. In general, it suits me well. Once installed, the bars are 3 inches narrower and 2 inches lower than stock. I'm 6ft 2" with medium sized arms so I have no problem reaching my arms while maintaining an upright posture. It's a lot less like riding than stick. Definitely recommend if you are tall and trying to fit Japanese bikes. Woodcraft Racing makes a similar if not better version of clip-on adapters for around $220. but $100 less this product is enough.
