Kit arrived with lots of oil. Metal parts are typically milled and manufactured using lubricating oil, so it is common to see parts packaged with this oil still on the product. However, they had a rather unusually large amount of oil on them. All parts come in a display storage holder so all that oil gets into the slots in the holder and is difficult to remove. When you open the package, put an old newspaper, flat box, or something else on top to make cleaning easier. The storage holder appears to be an afterthought of low quality, similar to a 3D printed DIY item. I was quite disappointed to see such poor quality. The threaded slots for the wands are too narrow and when everything is cut so tightly together it is difficult to remove the wands and parts with bare fingers and impossible with gloves on. This would be very easy to fix. It looks like these sets all come in the same holder, so I think someone just started copying designs rather than really thinking about the purpose of the holder and the environment it's likely to be used in. Honestly, I probably see myself getting rid of the holder altogether and just tossing all the parts in the toolbox drawer. Oh, you'll also probably ditch the stupid flimsy wrench they come with and get an actual open-end wrench. They contain the same thin metal disposable trash can that you find in DIY garden furniture kits. The first time you slide it bends the teeth and it's useless. It is also more likely to graze nuts. Save yourself the headache and buy a real wrench. With brackets. seems pretty durable. I haven't really scrolled them or subjected them to high torque drills or other demanding applications, but from preliminary light use they seem to be working fine. So I think real clamps are fine, but the storage box and wrench they come with are useless and be prepared to spend half an hour cleaning all the oil off of everything when you get the open box 4 stars because of the stupid box and wrench. Maybe 5 if they fix it.
