HHIP 3900-2112 58 Piece Clamping Kit 🔩 with 7/16 Inch T-Slot and 3/8-16 Stud Size Review

This is a great value clamp set. It arrived super fast. The only problem was that the threads on the t-nuts were so terrible they couldn't be used straight out of the box so I spent 45 minutes cleaning the entire set with a wrench. Turns out they were just t-nuts. Now they are all very smooth. I would still buy this set despite some effort to clean it, but it is not necessary!

Unlike typical Chinese jingle sets, this one is very well packaged and will not arrive by accident. I ordered this for the G0704 grinder. The 1/2" slot fits perfectly, but you will need to remove .018 on each side of the T to fit the G0704 table. I placed all six on their side in a vise and removed the stock from the 3" end mill. The organizer is blue and well made. I highly recommend this set.

This set is very handy for clamping complex shapes. I think I paid about $65. I had to remove the bottom to get a short threaded rod which I dropped into the hole and the rod fell through. In the meantime I have built a milling table with drawers and moved the clamping set parts to the top drawer. Do this at your own risk, but I also bought a 4" quick release vise, an angle vise, and a 3" machine vise to go with this kit, so I can now clamp almost anything up to 4" wide . I use this on a HF…

The clamp set I received was very well made, had none of the milling defects that other reviewers had: threads were clean, running surfaces on all blocks were sharp and fitted perfectly. My Smithy CB1220 XL has 7/16" slots on the table and I had trouble finding that size; 1/2" and 5/8" seem to be more common. I already have a RED set, the smaller of the two. I ordered a BLUE set so I can pick it up and get started. Got the same RED organizer! The box also features a BLUE organizer. When I opened the box, my hardware was in a plain cardboard box that separated the RED organizer from the oiled hardware. It was very nice, better than the other RED set. Kit arrived with lots of oil. Metal parts are typically milled and manufactured using lubricating oil, so it is common to see parts packaged with this oil still on the product. However, they had a rather unusually large amount of oil on them. All parts come in a display storage holder so all that oil gets into the slots in the holder and is difficult to remove. When you open the package, put an old newspaper, flat box, or something else on top to make cleaning easier. The storage holder appears
