I have an inexpensive turntable that I wanted to connect to Creative T30 Bluetooth speakers. I had an old Bluetooth transmitter but I was never able to connect it to the speakers as they don't have a screen to select a station. So I bought this TX/RX combo to see if it helps. . He promised aptXβ’ technology and the latest versions of Bluetooth. drum roll. it worked! I plugged in and turned on the device, flipped the switch to TX mode, put my bluetooth speakers in pairing (searching) mode and they connected right away! I can only attest to the sound quality of an inexpensive turntable, but it served my purposes very well. Very low latency, the music stops as soon as the arm is raised. I turned it off after a while to see if the battery was working and it worked. but I plan to keep it plugged in permanently. I haven't tested the RX feature, so I can't comment on that. So I'm very happy with it. When I will test other features I will update. Otherwise it serves exactly the purpose I was looking for.
