This stand was used for a 70 inch tv on a tv stand. Article fixed the problem! It is extremely durable. Allows me to rotate TVs to fit a larger TV on a smaller stand. The only downside is the instructions for screwing the TV to the brackets. There are quite a few screws and standoffs to choose from (which are great, btw) and I suggest trying to install the brackets the way you are with the help of a family member or friend who can hold the TV with you think it's best to put the TV on the stand. I've swapped the spacers between the brackets and the TV a couple of times to ensure the TV is perpendicular to the stand. Otherwise, the top of the TV could be facing up or down, so wait a while and make sure it's heading your way before you go through the final stages of dressing.
