The lighting was vibrant and there's a little remote that can change the lighting color of the board and the flashing patterns.What I didn't know: it came with its own set of markers!But:The markers were a little confusing and took me an extra minute until I realized it tells you how to get the marker to work on the actual marker. After the ink fills up the point, no issues or compliments with the markers. I even dropped it on the carpet once and it did not stain it either. The colors of were very bright and flattering. No ugly colors.I've gotten a lot of compliments of how good the board looks as well.
