I was so excited about this purchase. How nice! The gearbox was easy to assemble and everything seems to be in order. The mixer is running! This works as long as you're not trying to blend anything in the blender. The motor runs and the impeller stops turning when it meets resistance. I took the whole blender apart and found that the nylon worm gear turned easily on the aluminum shaft. There is nothing essential holding the nylon gear in place. Then I took another brand new gear out of my bag and found it spinning on its shaft as well. Not only is this equipment useless, but you're also wasting time taking the blender apart again.
