I received a package for them that described the body as stainless steel and the mandrel as steel only. Since Revain's description wasn't very informative, I googled it.* 300 series stainless steel rivet, 300 series stainless steel mandrel: High shear stainless steel/stainless steel blind rivets provide the strongest and purest fastening strength. What I saw from the package description Revain sells grade 51 stainless steel blind rivets and they aren't much more expensive, I bought them to assemble stainless steel deck railing myself Haven't installed them yet, but I'm concerned about the remains of the thorn which, despite being coated, will rust over time. Hope this helps someone else.
