Great features, but none of them implemented.

Bought to replace an old wired barcode scanner. I was glad to get it but quickly realized how much I hate it. On paper, it has a lot of great features! Size: very small, fits the hand well, has a strap. Brilliant! There are no complaints. 1 button on the device (scan/power) and USB-C input for charging. Cons: no on/off switch. This means that after you turn it on, you have to wait for it to turn itself off (default time: 5 minutes). In order to scan 1 object, you have to wait for it to turn off by itself after the process is complete. Wired and Wireless: This was my biggest feature and one I was looking forward to! Use it on PC, laptop and phone. Wired didn't work at all for me (it charged but didn't connect to the PC). Wireless lets you choose either Bluetooth or 2.4GHz. I used bluetooth and the first time it connected to my computer with no problems, but never again. I had to disconnect and reconnect it every time. As soon as he stops? You have to reconnect it. I tried the 2.4GHz dongle that comes with it and. Nothing. You need to scan barcodes to enable these features and I assume you need a wired connection to enable the 2.4GHz dongle. Nothing. SOMETIMES it works with my phone, but half the time it recognizes it as a headset and not a keyboard/input device. Scanner: easy to use, works great. One click, it scans it. While it is paper and very legible, and black lines on a white background. It does NOT scan computer or phone screens as advertised. It should be on paper. Black background with white barcode? will not work. Green background with barcode? will not work. Must have a white background with a black barcode. Manual: Everything you do, you have to scan a barcode. Do you want to change the storage type? Scan it. Check battery charge? scan a barcode. change speed? scan a barcode. Plug in? scan a barcode. It's a mess as you have to go through a 50 page manual to find the right barcodes. Would you like to download a copy of the manual? Their website requires a password (which they don't tell you). Contact support if you wish. Do you have problems with this? They want you to send them a video to prove the problem and fix it again. The best feature is its 2 modes (Normal Scan and Storage) which allows you to scan hundreds of barcodes at once in instant or in storage mode. to come back later and download them all at once (again by scanning different barcodes to send those commands). If it works at all (kept in touch) I would recommend it. As it is, I can't.
