I wanted to use the camera for simple tasks. Nothing fancy just to chat with friends and family. I just received this camera and it was exactly what I was looking for for this purpose. I've never had an external camera for my PC. It was easy and I had it up and running within 10 minutes of unboxing it. When I ordered I was disappointed that the delivery was almost a month old. But for some reason received it after 5 days. I was very pleasantly surprised because I almost didn't buy because of the delivery time. I'm glad I did. I recommend this product. I have not used it with directional software.
