The valve only worked for half an hour, after which the check engine light came on again. I spent another week troubleshooting the system and spent another $50 on a smoke test to find out the valve I just bought was defective. When I took out the "new" valve, it fell apart in my hand. From the outside it looked like new but inside everything was corroded and the valve wouldn't move when powered. The part is cheaply made from "made in China" parts. Your best bet is to purchase the part from your local Ford dealer. When I bought another valve from Ford the problem was solved.
