If you've ever had another spatula this will take you back in time to before non-stick surfaces in a good way. . Perfect for pancakes, but I find this to be my go-to pan tool for just about anything that's made in a pan. The silicone won't wear off after hundreds of uses, the underlying metal makes it thin and easy to twist. The handle is made of heat-resistant plastic, it's convenient to hold and manipulate everything in the pan. Bought for myself but my wife loves it too. He says that every time he uses it.
