Review on Charger LiitoKala Lii-500 by Boguslawa Debowska ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Im amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

I've been using it for 4 years, every day, I'm satisfied. There is an even more expensive charger from Nitecore (up to 3A), so it worked for a year and a half, and 2 out of 4 connectors grunted ( About the chip with the simultaneous setting of the current for all batteries, you can not go right away, but it is there. You insert the batteries one by one, and while the charge current blinks (that is, you can select it with the CURRENT button), just select the desired current, and the setting is automatically forwarded to all 4 connectors. Although there is no official support for 21700 for this charge, it is there, and the batteries fit without problems. It's just that the charge itself came out before the 21700 started selling. I saw in the reviews the excitement about the lack of a forced cooling system, but it seems that this is not something that is not a problem, but rather only a plus, because. you don’t need to listen to the fan, and it’s not huge because of the radiator, and the max charge current is 1A, it doesn’t need cooling. When charging 4 fat batteries 21700 at 4000mAh each, and a current of 1A, there are no problems at all, it gets a little warm, but that's all. The maximum recommended charge current for standard Li-Ion batteries, by the way, is 1A, you can charge it with a large current, of course, but then the battery will lose capacity faster over time.

Pros
  • Easy to use durable Has short circuit protection There is a calculation of the battery capacity 4 batteries can be charged at the same time There is a simultaneous setting of the charge current for all 4 batteries Fits 21700
Cons
  • If the battery is pulled out abruptly, then the spring of the mechanism can fly off the connector, which the battery presses to the positive contact, but this is fixed quite easily, you need to unscrew 4 bolts in fact. And for 4 years of use, this happened only a couple of times, by negligence
