Great quality as advertised. My dog loves it and has no bad side effects. She weighs 30 pounds and is no longer listed. Yes it's salty, yes it's iodine. However, it will not harm your pet unless you give the wrong amount or your pet is sensitive. It happens with everything! I can just sprinkle dry food on it and it will seep. But I also put some oil on her because she's a rowdy breed and it helps with itchy skin and dryness. My cats don't want anything to do with it but they are picky and it's still not for them. lol.
