Review on Toilet Tank Flush Lever Replacement: American Standard, Straight Arm, White - Upgrade Your Bathroom Functionality! by Michael Lara

You get what you pay for. A little

To be honest this product is junk and overpriced. Lightweight, flimsy plastic that doesn't work. Installed manually, lever will not return to neutral, loose, loose and unreliable. The handlebars are too short, even with my "universal" pull chain set to max length on the new Flapper, the tank runs continuously, albeit slowly/intermittently, costing me a $400 septic tank pump in a couple of weeks. It's a shame that sellers generally have the right to sell such junk. All in all it cost me $459 including the original purchase price, septic tank pump, new damper/circuit/fill valve (to diagnose why the persistent slow running is happening) and another better quality knob/lever. I recommend avoiding this at all costs.
