After a long search for a tire product that would leave a beautiful appearance without damaging the rubber I chose this 3M product and was very pleased with the results. The overly shiny toy car looks on the tire yet leaves that horribly damaged and brown look as it wears down. This makes the tire look more like a new one that has just been fitted. This spray lays down very evenly with either of the two methods I've used. You can spray and use a sponge for even coverage that doesn't drip, or if you don't plan on driving after application you can just spray a healthy coat onto the sidewall and let dry. I usually choose the latter as the thicker layer lasts a bit longer. Just make sure there's no excess before you drive, or it'll end up on your fenders and the rest of your car. I have had 4 bottles and will continue to use this as my primary tire treatment.
