Stabilizer of a large multipurpose staircase

I bought these stabilizers for my aluminum staircase to install gutter protection in my house. The back of the house is very high and it's scary to stand on the stairs. I'm talking about 14-15 feet in the air. At this height you don't want the ladder to slide and fall over at the top. These arms are easy to attach, lightweight and very functional. If you use it to lift the ladder onto the ladder and put it on the roof, you will be very safe at the top of the ladder. No pressure on the gutter, easy to install gutter guard. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. It's easy, a lot cheaper than a trip to the hospital. If you work from stairs, do it right there. Don't hesitate, your life depends on the stability of the stairs. A new application that I've just had really luck with is using this stabilizer to paint a living room with a high ceiling. I just purchased a one unit duplex with a 17 foot sloping cathedral ceiling. One side is 8 feet and rises to 17 feet. I hired a large 12 foot ladder and found it very difficult to maneuver around the room and I was still very insecure about getting to the top to cut through the nooks and crannies of the ceiling walls. Now comes the big part. I brought an extension ladder with stabilizers, lifted the ladder and placed the stabilizers against the wall. I carefully pulled the ladder up to the top of the wall near the ceiling and it worked great. No wall damage. I was safe as I climbed and just painted over the corners and trimmed the edges. Moving around the room became a lot easier and I got the job done in no time without any issues. I love this product.
