If you care about food safety then this product might be for you. there is a picture of the bottom of the bottle. I received the bottles and they also have 3 LDPE on the bottom. It is either [1] Plastic #3 PVC - Polyvinyl Chloride (labeled 3 on the bottom) OR [2] Plastic #4: LDPE (labeled LDPE on the bottom) OR [3] Plastic #5: PP - Polypropylene (given in list). Sooo what is this? #4 and #5 are food grade, #3 may be depending on the type. With all this uncertainty, I would advise purchasing this product for other uses.
