Soft brushes and their different sizes ensure a good, smooth and even application. Roses and thorns are beautiful and easy to hold and use. I was concerned that the spikes would make it difficult to hold and use, but they don't bother applying or holding. The brushes themselves are very light, which also makes makeup and blending easier to use and handle. I got these as a gift for a friend and she says she loves them because they are so pretty but also very practical and useful and just lovely soft brushes. I also took a set for myself and I agree. Soft brushes and light pencils help blend my makeup (drugstore brand ELF) and my friend uses eyeshadow from a more expensive brand (forgot the name). They are beautiful and functional.
