Review on 🔌 8ft Mediabridge ULTRA Series Subwoofer Cable - Dual Shielded, Gold Plated RCA to RCA Connectors - Black by George Mack

I know this cable got good reviews which is why I bought it, but my experience has shown that this cable does NOT offer any protection against RFI (Radio Frequency Interference). I bought this cable to eliminate the constant hum from my subwoofer (even when the AVR amp was off) and it reduced the hum somewhat compared to an unshielded RCA cable, I had a very loud and distinct one the entire time Hum could be so loud that you can easily hear it from the next room. I read good reviews about the Blue Jeans LC-1 cable, and while I was skeptical that it would be any better than this highly rated cable, I spent $31. Voila! FINALLY my problem was solved, the hum and FM modulation (from a nearby FM transmitter) that Mediabridge was introducing into my subwoofer is GONE! I wish I had tried it a year ago, it was horrible to live with that constant buzz!
