Unfortunately, the cell phone pairing with the eGeeTouch Manager app does not work.
This is a neat device. Installation took some time mainly for placement. The provided modules unlock the device. However, I'm disappointed with the NFC capability as it doesn't work with my Galaxy S8+. I know my phone's NFC is working because I use it a lot with Samsung Pay. On the other hand, it can prevent my bag's zipper pullers from catching and loosening on the baggage carousel.
- OPTIMIZED for NFC FOB at purchase. Work with a limited number of NFC-enabled ANDROID smartphone models running Android 4.4+, NFC key fob/tag, stickers, etc. - multiple access methods. Does NOT work with the iPhone. Need some DIY work to remove the old combination lock from the luggage and then replace it with this smart lock
