First of all I have to say that probably the best thing about this product is the customer service. A few months of use and I have a problem. Fast email response and a new replacement shipped out immediately. That doesn't make the service any better. Next is the speaker itself. I'm a mountain biker and use this when riding. It gets a lot louder than you probably need, which is a good thing. The steering wheel remote control is the best thing in the world. It's really easy for me to pause when approaching walkers or horses on the trails, skip to the next song, or change the volume. You don't even have to take your hand off the wheel! I would suggest if you are taking it into the woods on your bike, put it in a plastic bag to keep it clean and dry. Mine is splash proof. It also serves as a regular old speaker that I use at the beach, in my yard or wherever. I don't feel comfortable opening it. I know it's made specifically for waterproofing, but having to open that tiny silicone case 3 or 4 times gets on my nerves. It would probably be easier if I had nails of any length. Overall I am completely satisfied with this product and have recommended it to several of my mountain bike friends.
