Much better than using your cellphone in the shower. This speaker has a suction cup that sticks well to my shower stall glass. The suction isn't particularly strong, but it's just enough to keep it in place. The button is big and easy to press, especially when your finger is wet. You can use it for basic track operations. You cannot change the station or select a different artist. Not as handy as a touchscreen phone, but enough for a few minutes in the shower. It is worth noting that it can be used as a hands-free phone. This works very well for me. The sound quality is above average. However, the person on the other side of the phone may feel strange.
