Review on Monster Bluetooth Audio Receiver Kit by Bryan Aleman

The first time I charged it for the recommended 3 hours before first use. I was checking the device an hour later when my room started smelling like burnt plastic. I looked at the unit and saw that it started to melt in the middle leaving a huge hole. What a safety hazard and poor quality control along with cheap parts. This is the third monster product I have purchased and all items were defective. I don't understand how a brand that preaches quality and high-quality electronics has such poor quality, as well as bad engineers using inferior components that fail immediately or have serious problems. Perhaps Monster should be a 99 cent shop brand because they are light years away from being considered and making high quality components or electronics. This is the last time I dare to go grocery shopping there.
