I think this product has a few small imperfections that would give it around 4.5/5.0 stars but half a star is not an option in the rating. very wearable. There is noticeable play in the return spring, I don't know if my unit seems defective or if it's common to all. Weakness is generally minor; does not actually pull away from the product, yet effectively wraps the tape until the target is flush with the body, which is subjected to an assisted force. The hull appears to be crushed; In other words, it's not difficult, but I think people in the market for a product like this have more important things to take care of. And with proper care, crushing shouldn't be a problem. I also find it quite handy - I often need to measure things when I'm fiddling with PC parts in my office or making custom models. 5 cables, and although it's limited to 36 inches, I still find it very useful. I don't use such elements on real keychains, but I think it can be very useful for measuring items with shorter dimensions, I think.
