This is a good USB Disk Reader/Writer that we have been using for many months now. Manually open/close the drive door, but the actual drive is much better than the fake picture on the box. It actually has an opening/closing drive tray, just like the internally installed drive on a desktop computer. The eject function also worked flawlessly with disc burning software and audio CD ripping software. An internal IDE drive could not be found as they seem to have died out and desktop drives are now SATA so this was the perfect low cost alternative solution that has continued to work month after month.
