Eh, it works I think, but not quite - bad wiring

Works, but not for long. As others have said, it doesn't support much weight. If you use it with Par38 type LED hideaway light, it can't support incandescent bulb. Save money and buy a free cord socket and ridge wire. The light also has an exposed wiring harness in the lip with crimped screw terminals which is not safe unless you are careful - the wires can be ripped out and exposed to mains voltage very easily.
