Review on BLACK DECKER FP4100B 8 Cup by Tay Tran

I bought this model at our local grocery store. But now I'm here at Revain buying a quality food processor. On a very important topic. I've had this processor for a little over a year now and have only used it lightly. However, last pumpkin season showed me that this product is both ineffective and, more importantly, unsafe. While processing my fried pumpkin chunks, I became aware of a black, peppery substance spitting out of the spindle/blade portion. I quickly turned off the machine and poured out the substance with a spoon. I wasn't sure if it hadn't been cleaned properly beforehand and threw it away. When I first started cleaning it, I was concerned that the top plastic part of the blade spindle (picture and video above) had a gear-like top. The plastic has obviously collapsed and become part of who knows how many dishes. Buyer Warning.
