Bought this to run outside in cold weather. The fabric is a great windbreak and supports multiple layers when needed. I had a problem with the size. I've read the manufacturer's sizing guidelines which seem to indicate if I want a loose fit so order one size up. I usually wear a large "L" size which gives me normal range of motion in normal clothing ie not too tight and not too loose. I wanted a looser fit so I bought the XL which was a size larger than my norm. The purchase was too small. The top closes easily but is tight. The trousers were very tight at the calves and thighs; However, the waist area was loose. Luckily I sent the set back and bought an XXL, two sizes bigger. It gave me the perfect relaxed fit and didn't make me look like I was "drowning" in the fabric. For me I had to go up a size two to get a loose fit and even if I wanted a snug fit a size one would be too tight. Very happy with my recent purchase but please note the zipper is on the left side.
