Downsizing made me get rid of the heavy electric 3 hole hammer. When I finally needed to punch holes again I was happy to find an old ACCO punch, although I had to use a hammer to punch it through three sheets of paper and then pry it open again with a screwdriver. So I bought this WorkLion as a compact alternative. I compared the holes punched by the two machines and they were the same distance from the edge of the paper and between the punches. However, this one required no tools to open and close and produced a clean punch. I would have preferred something stronger, but not significantly larger, especially if you want to punch more than two sheets of paper at a time. However, for the simple life I currently lead, it will be fine.
