I didn't understand it in the description but these banana clips are SPRING LOADED! I have the thickest, very curly, very fine single hairs, which makes it very difficult to get regular banana clips in place so that they fit properly and stay in place. They have a lightly rubberized finish and a spring hinge that makes it easy to gather all of my hair and hold it in place until I pull it out of the clip. These types of clips may have been around for a long time, but I haven't had long hair in almost 30 years, so I didn't have to buy banana clips. The male! This is a game changer! Never stop creating this style.
