We love her! suitable for paper towels

I've been using it for 3 months, I plan to use it all year round. They're *not* quick-absorbing like the Bounty, but they're wicking and comfortable, which is basically what we want. I still only use 1 roll and leave another roll when it wears out. But here's my method: I cut them in half to make them look more like "pick a size" shawls (that's a silly name because you just use more or less of it to choose a size) . Then I fold them in thirds and put them together like pop-up napkins (cross Z-folds). I took a plastic carry-on bin and cut a slot in the top and then attached the base of the bin to the wall with two 3M mounting brackets. Stack the folded towels on top of the slotted lid, then press all the stuff against the already attached bottom of the bin. We hung a mesh laundry bag on another 3M hook by the window, tucked slightly to the side so it doesn't get in the way while cooking or washing up. When the bag is about half full (20-30 half towels) Frau soaks it in Oxy and washes it with our linens. When they're dry I stack them so I can refill my wall bin if needed. I like my system very much! Once you've done this a few times, it's quick too, so don't think this is a complicated, eco-nutty way to save some paper towels. We both like them for cleaning, drying veggies, mopping up small stains, basically anything we use paper towels for except cat poo. I can't use them for that. That's easy. . . no I still occasionally buy the 7th gen for it. But I use them for everything else.

Pros
  • MACHINE WASH Replacement for paper towels. Yes. We've made our reusable paper towels washable. Each kitchen roll contains 20 reusable bamboo towels that can be washed up to 200 times and only get softer over time!
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
