I bought this last summer to install at a friend's house where I used to sit. The house was out of town and there were a lot of bed bugs at night. These lights turn on automatically at dusk and off at sunrise. All you have to do is leave the light switch on and then you don't have to worry about anything else. If you come home late at night, you don't have to worry about leaving the lights on as they will turn on automatically without any errors! I recently moved and bought more to replace all of the outdoor lights in my new home. For the price they are exceptional value!
