For the price, it gets the job done, but the clamp screw is hard to get to (requires a 3/16 hex wrench) and if you want to tighten it, you'll end up pulling the screw off or if you don't tighten it. First you damage the thread. The mounting holes are wide enough for a standard motorcycle plate and the product is actually small, allowing me to tuck it neatly under my cock. Regardless of the poor screw attachment, I use a retractable cable tie to hold the plate at just the right angle and I use two elastic cords to hold the plate securely in place. I didn't feel like drilling to get it further under my rear end, so I use the open space on my CB500F truck to filter out the elastic cords. It definitely requires some creative knowledge. I would give it four stars but the top and bottom are curved and not perfectly aligned, the hinge so I had to push one of my screws down to align it. 3.5/5
