Excellent product for its price! My first thoughts were: I'm glad this stand isn't too heavy! Fortunately, this is the ideal weight to carry my laptop. I use a 15 inch HP Envy model and the laptop fits perfectly. The quality of the stand itself is great and the rubber pads are great for supporting the laptop and keeping the stand and laptop in place. I was looking for a suitable stand as the pandemic has required me to do a lot of work with my laptop including hours of use and use for video chatting at school. I noticed that the laptop doesn't get too hot on the stand due to proper airflow. (worked for almost 8 hours straight!) and this product has been a huge relief on my neck. To make sure this stand is safe for my new laptop I tested it on my old Toshiba (which is quite heavy) and miraculously it was able to hold the weight.
