Review on Hewlett-Packard VS17E 17 LCD Monitor with 75Hz Refresh Rate, ‎EN623AA#ABA by Todd Self

I don't like 16:9 aspect ratio monitors, so I was looking for something with a 4:3 aspect ratio. That fits the bill. + The display is quite sharp. Not the best display I've seen, but more than adequate for email and browsing + The built-in speakers work much better than I expected, even at high volumes, music could only be heard from the right side of the headphones. I tried plugging the same headphone into the headphone jack on the back of the processor case and everything worked fine there. It looks like something is wrong with the headphone jack on the monitor. Maybe I got a defective part. I didn't find this to be a major downside for sending the monitor back as I don't use headphones much anyway.
